Recently Completed Projects

City of Chicago Maintenance

Mechanical maintenance on the city of Chicago buildings.

UIC Boiler Installation

Installed a new boiler to regulate temperature control.

EIMA

Assessed and refurbished over 6, 200 manholes in Illinois as a part of the grid modernization program (Energy Infrastructure Management Act) improving the safety and reliability of the electric grid, shortening power outages for families and businesses, and ensuring the safety of future workers.

Kice Substation

Changed 333-MVA regulators from a space-constrained support trellis, replaced the station auxiliary power transformers, and the 69-kV primary Transformer fuses. MZI Group reconfigured the existing electric wildlife mitigation barrier fence to accommodate the new equipment.

Waukegan Substation

Constructed a new 345 GIS (SF6 Gas Insulated Switchgear) and above-grade electrical construction for the new 138-kV switchyard adjacent to the GIS substation which greatly increased the reliability of electricity delivery
